My name is Carys Dixon. I am a professional makeup artist and I have been in the industry for 10 years. I have 2 level 3 diplomas in makeup artistry, and have learned from only the best makeup artists in the UK.
I first began my makeup artistry as a self taught mua, then in 2017, I started training at P-louise makeup academy, first with 1:1 lessons with Shannon morris and Emmy Broughton. I then completed the level 3 diploma in makeup artistry there in 2018. I also went for private 1:1 lesson with the very talented Heather Rose Makeup in 2019 to perfect my technique.
As the industry started to change and the trending soft glam makeup became highly popular, I trained at Hollie Flynn makeup studio and with the amazing Joe Campbell Mua. In 2021, I trained at the glam bar in leeds with Enya Doherty and Miss kda (Katie Daly) to do their summer school soft glam course, which was another level 3 diploma. I then trained with the incredible leah brammell makeup in 2022.
I feel I have a great deal of experience and skill in my trade, and I am very proud of where I have come already, and extremely excited for what is to come.
Makeup is something I am extremely passionate about, and is very close to my heart.
I absolutely love making my clients feel their absolute best and the most beautiful they can possibly feel. That is what my job is all about. I am extremely grateful for all my clients and those who choose me for their special day.
